About United Way of Cecil County: United Way of Cecil County mobilizes the power of caring individuals and groups to promote a healthy, safe community where everyone can reach their full potential. We accomplish this by way of three guiding focus areas:

  1. Promoting Successful Children and Families – providing quality services to help support, empower, and educate children, adults, and families.

  2. Independent Living - the ability to examine alternatives and make informed decisions and direct one's own life. This ability requires the availability of information, financial resources, and peer group support systems.

  3. Health and Wellness –physical, mental, and social wellbeing, as a resource for living a full life.

For your project or program to be considered for funding, your organization must meet the specific criteria outlined below.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
