Successful Children and Families

No one can do it alone...and every family needs support, whether it's childcare, food, counseling or mediation services. United Way of Cecil County recognizes that strong families make strong communities. We invest in organizations and programs that are proven to be effective in targeting and empowering Cecil County children and families for success in school and life.

Independent Living

It's more than just a paycheck. Independent Living involves making a living wage and having additional income to build wealth, save for assets, and break the cycle of poverty for the generations to come. United Way of Cecil County provides funding and supports to organizations and programs proven to be effective in preserving independence and quality for Cecil County residents.

Good health is most determined by where we live, access to healthy foods, opportunities to safely be active outside, and a network that encourages us to maintain healthy habits.
