Yes. United Way of Cecil County honors donor designation requests to member agencies and other United Ways.
Undesignated gifts, however, provide the greatest flexibility and allow us to respond to the most pressing and emerging needs throughout Cecil County.

Through a thoughtful review process that includes application reviews, discussions, and site visits, recommendations are made to the UWCC Board of Directors to help ensure funds are invested responsibly and effectively throughout the community.
Organizations interested in partnering with United Way of Cecil County must be recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and provide services that benefit Cecil County residents.
